World Record Hi-Viz Vest Event

Stand with us in hi-viz for suicide prevention. I Got You is bringing the community together on Saturday 10 October, World Mental Health Day, at GIO Stadium Canberra to attempt a world record for the most people wearing a hi-vis vest in one location.

The event will begin from 9:30am, with the official world record attempt at 11:00am and wrap-up at 12:30pm.

Community organisations will also be showcasing their services, making this a powerful morning of connection, visibility and support.

The number we are aiming to reach is 3,307, representing the last known number of people who lost their life to suicide in Australia in 2024.

Each person who registers and wears a hi-viz vest will help create a powerful visual reminder that every life matters, every person counts, and no one should have to go through tough times alone.
